please help Toshu get back home--
(L.) Toshu hard at work in Morro Bay at Art in the Park, guarding Mouse (see ear in lower right corner.)
(R.) Toshu bidding Utah adieu
- Toshu is a 14-year-old petite (<8#) Maine Coon mix who has been mistaken for a kitten at times, more often for a
seven-year-old, blue (grey) classic tabby markings (although her long hair obscures the bulls-eyes on her sides), with intense green eyes and white feet, which is how she was named--for the toe-shoes on her front feet!
- Toshu has a visible spay scar, long toe-fur, and the remains of a cap on her right upper canine (she broke her tooth and had a root canal at three-years-old). When last seen, her coat was brilliant and fluffy, with a magnificent squirrel tail in its full glory. When stressed or lacking any more foster kittens to help, Toshu has overgroomed the base of her tail, leaving a very short patch of hair around the top of her rump.
- Toshu will answer to her name, walk on a leash, and even walk at heel. She loves to go for walks on the Pismo Pier, hiking and camping, and adapts in moments to new places. She is rather particular about her litter box, but can even use one in a moving car! She does not have a microchip--she is not a wanderer at all. Any evidence that she wore a collar has likely grown out.
- Toshu is accustomed to working at art shows, helping with foster kids, and a travel pro, having gone to Colorado thrice, numerous trips to San Francisco and Santa Barbara, and trips to Arizona and Southern California too, from her home in San Luis Obispo, CA. Won't you please help her get back home? Picture her hopping out of the car at the garage, walking to the front gate and waiting for it to be opened after the car is put away--even that will help.
 | Last seen by her mom and sister 18Nov06 ~1:30 pm Friday in the Gilroy Crossings parking lot in Gracie, a champagne gold PT Cruiser, on her way to see her grandparents. She is greatly missed by her adopted brother and human family, although her adopted sister is just fine about not having her around. Toshu was apparently removed from the parking lot, and may have been placed elsewhere without disclosure from whence she came. If you have seen Toshu, or you think you may know who has her now, please do contact Briana at 805-235-7527 or by e-mail If you have this cat and refuse to part with her, PLEASE contact Briana for Toshu's birthdate, history, and what her diet and care has consisted of for the first 13.5 years of her life, and to let us all know she is well. Our greatest concern is for her health and welfare, and happiness too. There is a reward for her safe and healthy return home. | |
